WYCHALL LANE SURGERY
NOTICE BOARD

We are now able to provide Yellow Fever vaccinations to both patients and non-patients of the practice.  Please contact reception for further details.

We were delighted with the results of the recent Government GP-Patient survey, which found that 97% of our patients were satisfied with the overall service that we provide.  Thank you to all of the patients that took part in the survey.

If you would like to be able to book your appointments and order repeat medications via the Internet, please contact the surgery for a registration letter for EMIS Access, which will contain all the details you will need to register.  It's a very simple process and will save you time in calling and/or visiting the surgery.  Registration is free and you will still be able to book appointments either in person or by telephone if you wish to do so.

We are introducing a new service to patients, enabling you to request your repeat prescription and obtain your repeat medications without even having to leave home.  A company called Pharmacy 2 U will remind you either by e-mail or telephone before your medications run out.  Alternatively, you can call them or order on line.  They will then request your prescription from the surgery, dispense your medications and deliver them to your home or work.  It's a very simple, time-saving process.  Please contact the surgery for a registration form, or call Pharmacy 2 U on 0845 803 9033 or visit www.pharmacy2u.co.uk/register.  Please note that the service can only be used for repeat prescriptions, not acute or urgent prescriptions.

We are now offering vaccinations to all female patients born between 1st September 1990 and 31st August 1993 to protect them against certain strains of the virus which can cause cervical cancer.  Please contact the surgery for further information.

Repeat prescriptions will be ready after 5pm the following day.

We are always grateful for donations of old magazines, for patients to read whilst waiting for their appointment.  If you have any magazines that you would like to donate, please hand them in to reception - please don't leave them in the waiting room.  This helps us to ensure that only suitable material is made available, and to keep the waiting room area tidy.  Thank you.
