Patients' Lending Library

The practice has a small range of books on health promotion and disease prevention topics. Your doctor or a practice nurse may recommend one of these to you. A small refundable deposit will be requested.

Carers

A carer is someone who, though not formally employed in this role, looks after a relative, friend or neighbour who has a long-term illness, disability, mental health problem or frailty due to old age. It is possible to get help and support as a carer: please ask for an information pack at reception. Birmingham City Council runs a carers forum and further information is available by telephoning 0121 686 4060 or by email: info@carer.org.uk or by logging onto www.birmingham-carers.org.uk
